These testimonials are provided by Senior Management and are verbatim, first hand accounts:

Glaxo Smith-Kline

Providing consultancy on a Livelink installation of 6000 worldwide Users, supporting Knowledge Management for a Global Manufacturing System/Global Supply Network, ndow also consulted on a significant and successful 'Lean' business efficiency initiative - more/less of this testimonial...

"Having resolved a number of High Profile Livelink system stability and performance issues, ndow then upgraded Livelink operating system infrastructure, moving from a single to multi-tier architecture.

These activities were most successful, provided a noticeably more robust, better performing Livelink system, and helped improve the image and profile of Knowledge Management systems at GSK.

Key to the smooth integration of a third party web publishing toolset for a significant business efficiency initiative, ndow liaised with vendors from both Open Text and toolset supplier, and supported key US based Customers throughout.

This initiative saved over 200k, and provided a basis for further reduction in costs to the organisation.

On departure, ndow mentored, to a high degree, incoming technical and development staff, ensuring a clear and clean handover.

GlaxoSmithKline very much benefited from ndow's involvement in our Livelink installation, and would not hesitate to use their services in the future."
Ardy Bayat, Director Non-Production Applications, GlaxoSmithKline

National Air Traffic Services(NATS)

NATS provides air traffic control services to aircraft flying in UK airspace, and over the eastern part of the North Atlantic. "As part of its technology based management improvement programme, NATS elected to introduce a Livelink information system" - more/less of this testimonial...

NATS engaged ndow Ltd. [Neil Dowson] to provide a Data Management strategy that simplified the migration of existing data in Microsoft DFS into the Open Text Livelink Document Management system.

This was achieved by effectively implementing Data Ownership through the exploitation of out-of-the-box Livelink functionality. ndow also supported the in-house Project Manager in maintaining a reporting line to the Project board, ensuring the smooth achievement of project targets and necessary staff training.

In addition, ndow also deployed additional modules including Remote Cache servers, and tuned these for optimum performance.

The contribution of ndow was an essential element that enabled NATS to deliver the project on time and within budget. Up take of the system proved to be better than expected and this is a clear reflection of the excellent working relationship achieved between ndow, the project manager and the company.

As the chair of the Project Board I was particularly aware of the positive and highly anticipatory approach adopted by ndow Ltd."
Paul Thomas FRAeS.

LASMO Oil and Gas

An international engagement, where ndow provided consultancy on a Livelink installation supporting Collaborative Knowledge Management for an independent UK Oil Exploration and Production company. Work was carried out at the company's HQ in Caracas - Venezuela - more/less of this testimonial...

"Neil Dowson of ndow Ltd provided Livelink consultancy for LASMO Venezuela in 1999, on two separate occasions", writes Simon Davies.

"The first project was a major upgrade of the Livelink release, including underlying Oracle database and web server. ndow also undertook re-design work on the User interface to improve usability, and provided training for the system administrators.

Following the success of the first project, LASMO Venezuela again contracted Neil Dowson of ndow Ltd to work on a major data management project, requiring Livelink to be interfaced with the master database for all exploration & production activities.

The deliverable from the second project was an integrated view of all technical data and documents for the oilfield development environment. Neil was responsible for all aspects of Livelink integration, and provided additional consultancy for the design of the User interface for the portal.

Estimated savings from this project were in excess of $3 million per annum, with return on total investment gained in around 5 months.

The re-engineered environment remains in use today."
Simon Davies, IS & Data Manager, LASMO Venezuela (1998-2001)
